This year starts with some 2009 at the back of my head. I still have some Danish beers to finish off. I am also already starting to think what I should cover in the next season. This one is slowly coming to an end. 4 more episodes to go. The theme for today is anniversary beers.

• the looks: head (dark), body (caramel, not over fried)
  
• the taste: caramel with strong malt foundation, quite full-bodied although flat
  
• the smell: caramel on malt

• the looks: head (dark and quite thick), body (nice orange)
  
• the taste: hops sprinkled with sugar, with bitter kick at the end
  
• the smell: strong hops with wet seeds
