As promised on Friday, I'm placing here the awesome Goldstar ads. I wanted to add some description to the posters but I realized I don't need to. They are pretty clear.
Do you know Hello Kitty? I am sure you do. It isn't exactly a beer related character, right. Well guess again because if I understand correctly you can now get a Hello Kitty bottle of beer. See for yourself.
A classic type of beer ad. People enjoying a beer over a camp fire on a beach. What more can you ask... This one is a Spanish San Miguel. The beer is so so but in the right circumstances it can be quite good.
Flickr is amazing. I found a cool collection of pictures for Sapporo beer ads and how they change over time. They are very Girl Likes Beer-like, targeted to girls;)
On this lovely after-Easter-Tuesday I want to share with a you a Budweiser print ad which encourages cooperation and reconciliation over a bottle of beer.
The second "I like Beer Ads" brings another American beer ad (a retro one, originally in Life magazine in 1937). It is Budweiser (reviewed by me twice, as Czech and as Amercian lager). Enjoy! It is very up-to-date, now that product patriotism is back on.
When I think about some of my all time favorite ads, a great deal of them include beer. I was thinking to add a section to this blog concerning beer ads, of various form. If you come across (internet, newspaper, tv, street, other) any interesting (or not) beer ad please send it over (girllikesbeer [at] gmail.com) and I will share it on the blog.
To start I am enclosing one of Miller ads, entitled "She told me we couldn't afford beer anymore". Enjoy! What do you think who was being unreasonable;)
